Gakobe Strong is dedicated to empowering youth, supporting families, and creating opportunities that inspire confidence, leadership, and long-term impact.
On May 5, 2026, history was made at the Georgia State Capitol as Governor officially signed Georgia House Bill 1284 into law — now recognized as “The Gakobe Milton Act.”
This monumental legislation allows local school boards across Georgia to award high school diplomas to terminally ill students receiving end-of-life care, even if they have not completed all graduation requirements.
The Gakobe Milton Act stands as a symbol of compassion, dignity, hope, and humanity — ensuring that students and their families can experience the honor of graduation during life’s most difficult moments.
This bill was inspired by the legacy of GaKobe Milton and represents a powerful step forward in honoring the journeys, achievements, and lives of students throughout the state of Georgia.
The GaKobe Strong Foundation remains committed to continuing advocacy, awareness, and community impact in honor of GaKobe’s legacy.
